The House of Representatives is going to bring back universal mask requirements for all members, even though most of them are already vaccinated. This mandate is being fought by Republican leadership.
On Tuesday, Capitol physician Brian Monahan sent out a memo declaring that masks will now be required in areas of the Capitol that are controlled by Nancy Pelosi, according to The Hill. The decision was made after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) was obviously forced to issue new guidance recommending that vaccinated people should wear masks in high-risk areas where the COVID-19 Delta variant is spreading.
Folks, this is the beginning of the Democratic Party’s strategy for winning the 2022 midterm elections.
“Come on, Rich. What do masks have to do with the election,” you may ask.
The way they defeated Donald Trump in 2020 was through the use of mail-in ballots. Mail-in ballots are highly susceptible to voter fraud. Part of Pelosi’s January 6 committee is to avoid questions of why the riot happened on January 6 at the Capitol. It was because a whole lot of Americans believed the election was stolen from Trump and therefore stolen from them.
Right now, the Democrats realize the American people are not too thrilled with how they have been governing and so to ensure they will win the midterms in 2022 and stay in power they have to give the American people a story that will make them afraid to go outside again for fear they will die from COVID. The only way to vote under those circumstances is by mail.
You think I’m crazy? Watch it happen.
Republicans are pointing out that the CDC has been politicized by the Biden administration and every time an agency or institution has been politicized it sends out mixed signals. That happens when you no longer base things on solid information but on the whim of whoever is politically in charge.
McCarthy took to social media to complain that the latest administration decision to force people who have been vaccinated to wear masks is only going to cause doubt for the unvaccinated to wonder how effective the vaccines really are if vaccinated people still have to wear masks.
“Vaccines work and vaccinated Americans should not have to wear masks.
“By forcing vaccinated Americans to return to masks, the Biden administration is not only casting doubt on a safe and effective vaccine but contradicting why vaccines exist.”

“Make no mistake—The threat of bringing masks back is not a decision based on science, but a decision conjured up by liberal government officials who want to continue to live in a perpetual pandemic state.”

Last month the mask mandates were dropped in the Capitol when the CDC said vaccinated people didn’t have to wear them as they are protected from COVID. And then the Delta variant came and we are being told it is transmissible to and from vaccinated people.
There are instances where a vaccinated person could catch COVID but instead of being really bad the person will have mild symptoms as the vaccine has told their immune system how to fight the virus.
The Biden administration is attempting to divide the country between vaccinated and unvaccinated Americans and so they are declaring that vaccinated people could spread COVID to the unvaccinated, therefore everyone needs to be punished. It makes zero sense, but then again, they’re Democrats who rarely ever make sense.
The Capitol doctor justified bringing back the mask mandates by pointing out that some members of Congress travel to the Capitol from areas around the country with large populations of unvaccinated people and could carry the Delta variant with them.
So it’s the unvaccinated people you should hate is the message.
When Pelosi was asked about McCarthy’s opposition to the new mask mandate, she said, “he’s such a moron.” There’s true leadership, folks. The Speaker resorts to childish name-calling.
McCarthy points out forcing masks on people who have already been vaccinated sends mixed signals about the effectiveness of the vaccine and he’s the moron? Only in Washington, DC.
