Parents Marched IN DC Against Being Labeled ‘Domestic Terrorists’ For Complaining To School Boards About Critical Race Theory

Attorney General Merrick Garland made a huge mistake when he took on America’s mothers and fathers, by writing an especially moronic memo to President Joe Biden – a.k.a. President Houseplant – when he sided with the radical leftist National School Boards Association (NSBA) that wanted the federal government to accuse parents of “harassment and intimidation” of school board members and designate them as “domestic terrorists.”

Republican lawmakers couldn’t have come up with a better way to expose the tyranny of the Biden administration if they tried. Garland did it for them in the best way to reveal who these maniacs really are when he threatened parents with a federal investigation all because they demanded a say in how their children were being taught in school. Garland knew the federal government has zero jurisdiction to get involved in a local matter, so he said he would reach out to local officials and work with them to stop the dastardly terrorist moms who want their kids to be taught traditional classroom material and not woke Marxist principles. Every sheriff in the country should tell Garland’s office to pound sand when they come calling.

The public schools do not belong to the school boards. They belong to the people who pay for them; American taxpayers. Parents have every right to complain when woke jackasses who sit on school boards decide to start teaching their children how to become racists and how to feel guilty because of the color of your skin they were born with.

The backlash from parents is growing across the country. They’re not going to be intimidated. Their children’s futures are at stake. Instead of teaching reading, writing, math, and science, the school boards want to teach kids to hate their country and themselves.

In fact, the letter the NSBA sent to Garland asking him to designate parents who go to school board meetings and complain about critical race theory and other garbage being taught in the schools as domestic terrorists caused the Pennsylvania School Boards Association (PSBA) to withdraw their membership from the NSBA, and I’m almost certain that other states will follow.

Nobody ever accused Terry McAuliffe (D-VA) of being the smartest guy in the room. His timing could not have been any worse. McAuliffe announced that he is running for governor of Virginia, a seat he held in the past. During the firestorm of backlash from parents to be labeled as domestic terrorists, McAuliffe came out and said that he doesn’t “think parents should tell schools what they should teach.”

Glenn Youngkin, McAuliffe’s Republican opponent, wasted no time running a blitzkrieg of ads about education across the state, spending about $3 million. When you add the lunacy of Garland’s memo, the GOP has a strong edge on the issue of education. And education is one of those hot-button issues that bring parents out to vote.

Youngkin told the Daily Caller, “This campaign is about making Virginia the best state, the best place to live and work and raise a family, and there is nothing more critical to Virginia’s future than education. Education has the power to lift people up, to lift people out, to provide opportunities that they can only dream about, to realize the most vivid dreams. It gives every child a chance… every child… and when I’m governor, we will all be about giving every child a chance, to learn, to grow, to succeed, to believe. That’s what Virginia is all about.”

Contrast that with McAuliffe’s message that parents should not tell the schools what to teach their children. McAuliffe may get the teacher’s union donations, but Youngkin will get the parent’s votes.

Busy and uninformed parents in the past have allowed teachers to get away with teaching their children all kinds of nonsense that is political and will do nothing to help them get into a college or the workforce. After the introduction of critical race theory, that may be changing.

In recent decades, parents have demonstrated a willingness to let teachers have their way with their children as far as indoctrinating them. With the debate over critical race theory and radical, out-of-control school boards, that may be changing.

A poll conducted by “Public Opinion Strategies” found that voters in Fairfax and Loudoun counties make up 86% of Republicans, 57% of Independents, and 23% of Democrats do not want critical race theory being taught in their schools.

Parents were furious when their young kids were coming from school crying because they were called “oppressors” and taught that they are the cause of racial problems in the country. Some schools were teaching children that their parents are racist and that white people are born racist and they don’t even know it, and if you deny it, that counts as proof that you’re racist. They’re nuts. With homeschooling and private schools as an alternative, the public schools will see fewer and fewer students enrolling and they have no one to blame but themselves.
